POSITION TYPE:
Instructional Assistant- Part-time - 10 month (school term) M-F (5.75 hrs/day) 8:45 AM- 2:30 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a high school diploma, Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Knowledge of a second language is beneficial.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position is responsible for assisting teachers with English language support for English Learners to meet language goals, monitor behavior, and foster a positive acculturation experience in the secondary school setting. The successful candidate works with other members of the Department in meeting department goals and objectives in support of the MTWP English Language Department mission to provide a culturally responsive social and educational environment for students that promotes high quality language instruction.
