Full Job Description

RN – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: Arizona 85306
Duration: 13 Weeks (27 Apr 2026 – 25 Jul 2026)
Pay: $2,230 – $2,500/week

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
3 x 12-hour shifts
Variable shift days
Weekend and holiday rotation possible

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Provide Labor & Delivery nursing care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)
Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patient care
Support Level 1 Trauma and Level 3 Perinatal patient population
Monitor maternal/fetal status and respond to clinical changes
Administer medications and assist with labor management/interventions
Collaborate with OB providers and interdisciplinary team
Document care accurately in Cerner EMR

Requirements

Experience:
- Labor & Delivery experience – Required
- Cerner EMR experience – Required
- Level 1 Trauma / Level 3 Perinatal experience – Preferred/Required per facility
Licensure/Certifications:
- Active Arizona RN License – Required
- BLS – Required
- ACLS/NRP – Typically required in L&D settings
