Travel Inpatient Pharmacist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Travel Inpatient Pharmacist to join a leading Acute Care Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center, supporting inpatient pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy services, medication safety, and sterile compounding verification.

Job Responsibilities
As an Inpatient Pharmacist, you will:
- Verify physician medication orders for accuracy and safety.
- Perform medication product verification and release.
- Provide remote sterile compounding verification.
- Review and optimize medication therapy.
- Perform clinical pharmacy interventions, including:
- IV to PO conversions
- Renal dose adjustments
- Aminoglycoside dosing
- Anticoagulation dosing
- Support ICU, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, and inpatient pharmacy operations.
- Process pediatric medication orders safely and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with medication safety standards and pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document clinical interventions using Cerner EMR.
- Participate in quality improvement and medication safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Pharmacist experience
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Hospital Pharmacy experience
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License
- ACT 10 candidates accepted
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
- Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy knowledge
Shift & Schedule
- Evening/Night 10-hour shifts
- Primarily 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Occasional 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM shifts
- 7-on / 7-off style scheduling (7/70)
- One week approximately 30 hours
- Following week approximately 40 hours
- No routine on-call (may assist with occasional sick-call coverage)
