Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Home Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential properties. In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and oversee repairs to maintain high standards of property condition. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of residential properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals
- Lead small maintenance projects including painting, and mechanical upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with residents about maintenance schedules and issue resolutions
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities or residential maintenance with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques and general facilities upkeep is preferred
- Ability to use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment confidently
- Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and residents
