- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT credentialing preferred
- Prior experience performing general ultrasound studies in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound imaging studies, including OB/GYN and NT procedures, according to physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately document findings and maintain thorough patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Prepare, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment to the highest standards of safety and infection control
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care during patient procedures
- Assist in scheduling and workflow optimization within the imaging department
