Marlene's Sass & Class Boutique is looking for a motivated and friendly Part-Full Time Sales Associate (20-30 hrs/week) to join our team! We’re seeking a reliable team member with weekday daytime availability who loves fashion and working with customers. Retail experience preferred. Must be comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
- Part time to full time hours (about 20-30 hours a week)
- Must be available for weekday shifts and willing to work some Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Must have a passion for fashion! Keeping up with the latest trends and styles will make you a true asset to our team!
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
- Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
- Actively seek out customers in store
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Cross sell products
- Handle returns of merchandise
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
- Build productive trust relationships with customers and coworkers
- Comply with inventory control procedures
Skills
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Bilingual is a plus!
- Basic Math skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Must be able to multitask!
