Job Title: Shop Hand – Tacoma
Position Type: Full Time / Permanent
Wage: $22.00 - $28.00 DOE
Summary: The ideal candidate should be an effective communicator, detail oriented, organized and a strong team player. Someone who wants to do it right the first time and be apart of a growing team that works together.
Key responsibilities for this person will be:
- General shop maintenance: Keeping the shop organized, cleaned and safe
- Equipment maintenance: Assisting with the cleaning, oiling, and basic maintenance of shop tools and machinery on job sites
- Preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of both gas, diesel and propane vehicles/equipment
- Assisting with tasks: Providing support to experienced workers on various task
- Material handling: Moving materials, potentially including stock taking and managing inventory
- Ensuring a safe and clean shop space
Additional Requirements
- Clean driving record a must
- Strong safety culture
- Certifications a plus
