Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical and education.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, behavior management, and childhood development milestones.
- Foster an inclusive environment that supports children with special needs through tailored strategies such as early intervention techniques and individualized instruction.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure a safe, organized space conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through clear and compassionate dialogue.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or classroom aides to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained.
- Incorporate classroom management strategies that encourage positive behavior while addressing challenges with patience and consistency.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, lesson plans, and progress reports in compliance with licensing requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Background in curriculum development with knowledge of early childhood education frameworks such as Montessori or similar pedagogies.
- Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or require early intervention support.
- Experience in teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, or tutoring young learners is highly desirable.
- Prior experience managing a classroom environment that promotes child welfare, safety, and developmental growth.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
