POSITION: Maintenance Technician
SUMMARY: Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment to support production.
- Performs scheduled maintenance of equipment as necessary.
- Emergency repairs of equipment may alter break and lunch times, however break and lunch times will be given.
- Thorough preventive maintenance checks will be performed on a routine schedule.
- Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines and Facility equipment.
- Comply with ISO guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Perform various building maintenance activities-inside and outside the plant
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a self-directed environment efficiently.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently
- Willingness to learn and keep up with current technologies.
- Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights
- Good basic math skills
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Requires minimum 2-year degree in Mechanical/Electrical field or in the process of achieving degree or equivalent work experience.
