Who We Are
Hillsboro Community Hospital is a 15-bed critical access hospital located in Marion County, close to Marion Reservoir Lake and on the edge of the scenic Flint Hills. Hillsboro is less than an hour’s drive from Wichita to the South, Salina to the North, Hutchinson to the West, and Emporia to the East.
We pride ourselves on providing top quality medical care for Hillsboro and all of Marion County. Our services include an emergency department, full-service laboratory, inpatient care, physical therapy, radiology, surgery, swing bed, specialty clinics, and a family practice clinic.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking caring and compassionate Registered Nurses who would like to work in a more relaxed environment. There are opportunities for newly graduated techs to be introduced to working at a critical access hospital, as well as opportunities for experienced techs to learn new skills or master skills you already have. We have a low patient to nurse ration (approximately 4 to 1) which allows for more personalized care and an opportunity to learn new skills.

Schedule is 12 hour shifts from 7:00 – 7:00
What You Will Do
Registered Nurse Duties:
- Help to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients;
- Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of our patients;
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship based care, our organizational mission, and our core values.
What You Need
Registered Nurse Requirements:
- Current state nursing license
- Emergency Department experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS preferred, but not required
- One year experience preferred, but not required
