Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene at all times
- Manage ingredient inventory, ensure freshness, and minimize waste through effective stock rotation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to uphold a clean and safe working environment
- Educate team members on sushi preparation techniques and culinary best practices
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within a busy kitchen setting
- Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling
- Strong understanding of sushi presentation styles
- Experience in curriculum development or training others in culinary skills is a plus
