Job Summary
The Picking Team Lead is responsible for monitoring and maintaining Pick/Pack standards and getting orders out in a timely manner. The Picking Team Lead will have oversight of the Picking Associates.
Key Responsibilities Include:-
Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

Ensure execution of our customers’ fulfillment and distribution requirements, monitor and maintain proper safety and security controls, and support appropriate inventory integrity controls

Will be responsible for providing direction to hourly associates within the department ensuring the perfect order

Must be able to delegate while motivating your team to be productive

Provide a check and balance for accuracy of all orders both picked and packed

Analyze productivity reports to upper management

Assist in the development of productivity and accuracy standards and follow-up to ensure acceptable quality control standards are met

This position acts as a team leader and advises the team, answers complex questions functioning as an expert resource, and maintains assignment completion schedules
Supervision:
This position is frequently managed by the Outbound Supervisor.
Qualifications:-
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

One year in the Order-Processing Department

Physical Demands
This position requires standing 60% of the day, light lifting (up to 50 lbs.) for 30% of the day, and stooping for 10% of the day.
