American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring scrub and circulate skills including vascular/hybrid cases, with on-call and weekend availability in a hospital setting.

Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit
-
Cases include cardiovascular, vascular, cardiac, thoracic, GYN, general OR, and some robotics
-
Staggered 10-hour shifts with alternating start times of 6:30 AM–5:00 PM and 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
-
On-call requirement includes two 48-hour weekends and 14 weekday shifts per 6-week cycle; weeknight call runs M–F 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, weekend call runs Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM

Weekend availability required

Travelers are first to float from the Mainland campus to the City campus as needed

Charting performed in Cerner/PowerChart
-
13-week contract
-
Active NJ or Compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of OR experience required

Proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles required, including vascular and hybrid cases

Cerner and PowerChart charting experience required

RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of consideration

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
