Surf City Detox in Huntington Beach, CA is in search of a full time and part time Behavioral Health Technician for our substance use inpatient facility. We offer competitive pay and opportunity for professional growth!
Job Duties:
-Transport clients safely to facility and various off-site appointments. Routes must be completed in a timely manner as scheduled.
-Complete hourly rounds of client attendance and document absences effectively.
-Complete supervised drug testing of clients.
-Monitor group sessions and intervene if clients leave or disrupt the group.
-Utilize excel and other computer programs to effectively communicate client schedules and data entry.

-Experience working in a fast-paced, behavioral healthcare setting
-Minimum of 1 year of sobriety if in recovery
