Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience at our establishment, whether it be in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or during catered events.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders and payments.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet services or catering events to ensure seamless service.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the food industry, including food safety standards.
Skills
- Proficient in using Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or catering services is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for managing transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for those interested in craft cocktails or specialty drinks.
