Position Summary:
As a Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a vital role in preparing customer orders for shipment through our Shopify online store. This position combines organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Working approximately 4–5 hours per day, 3–5 days per week, you'll ensure every order leaves our farm accurately packed, professionally presented, and shipped on time. From printing packing slips to selecting shipping services and carefully packaging products, you'll help ensure customers receive the exceptional quality they expect from Cherry Valley Organics.
Responsibilities:
- Print and organize daily packing slips from Shopify
- Select the most appropriate shipping service using ParcelPath
- Carefully pick, verify, and pack customer orders
- Ensure products are packaged securely while maintaining their presentation and integrity during shipping
- Coordinate daily UPS and USPS pickups
- Verify shipping addresses and resolve basic shipping issues when needed
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient fulfillment area
- Monitor packing supply inventory and communicate when supplies need replenishing
- Perform quality checks before orders leave the farm
- Help maintain accurate inventory during fulfillment
- Assist with light farm or production activities during slower shipping periods as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous order fulfillment, warehouse, retail, or shipping experience
- Experience with Shopify or another ecommerce platform
- Familiarity with USPS and UPS shipping services
- Experience using shipping software is a plus
Position Details:
- Part-time
- 3–5 weekdays per week, depending on seasonal order volume
- Approximately 4–5 hours per day
- Flexible daily start and end times, between 7:30 am and 5 pm
- Approximately 15–25 hours per week
- Flexible start date in mid to late August 2026
- In-person position
