Work Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday (Early Dismissal): 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

What You'll DoCreate Fun & Educational Experiences
- Plan and lead engaging lessons, games, STEM activities, arts & crafts, homework assistance, and enrichment activities.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and lifelong learning.
- Adapt activities to meet the interests and developmental needs of children.
Foster a Safe & Positive Environment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
- Build an inclusive, welcoming classroom where every student feels valued and supported.
- Promote positive behavior and help children develop confidence and social skills.
Build Meaningful Connections
- Develop positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student participation and progress.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to create an exceptional after-school experience.
Be a Positive Role Model
- Demonstrate professionalism, kindness, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Inspire children through leadership, encouragement, and respect.
- Help create memorable experiences that students look forward to every day.
Continue Growing
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Learn new teaching strategies and best practices in youth development.
Qualifications
We're looking for team members who are:
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework in education or child development is a plus)
- Passionate about working with children
- Dependable, energetic, and positive
- Able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Current First Aid/CPR certified or willing to obtain certification before employment
- Comfortable using basic technology and learning new software
- Able to lift and transport supplies as needed
- Able to actively engage with children in both indoor and outdoor activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children in after-school programs, child care, camps, tutoring, or classrooms
- Education or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field
