Overview
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Delivery Operations I (Full-time/Part-time) team members to join our local dealership. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing vehicles for delivery by performing essential maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop automotive skills and contribute to a seamless customer experience.
Duties
- Performs complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing according to dealership standards, quality expectations, and required timelines.
- Washes vehicle exterior surfaces, cleans windows, door jambs, wheels, tires, and other vehicle components to ensure delivery readiness.
- Vacuums, shampoos, and cleans vehicle interiors including upholstery, carpets, panels, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Applies wax, polish, protective coatings, and other finishing products to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance.
- Removes dirt, stains, debris, and other foreign materials using approved cleaning methods and manufacturer recommendations.
- Inspects vehicles for visible defects including dents, scratches, paint imperfections, damaged upholstery, missing components, or other quality concerns and reports findings to management.
- Performs quality control checks on completed detailing work to ensure vehicles meet customer and dealership standards prior to release.
- Completes pre-delivery preparation activities to ensure vehicles are cleaned, inspected, and ready for customer delivery.
- Operates and maintains detailing tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and proper manner.
- Monitors inventory levels of detailing supplies and communicates replenishment needs to management.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, equipment, and facilities.
- Properly handles, stores, and disposes of cleaning products and waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
- Follows all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reports vehicle damages, equipment concerns, safety issues, and workplace hazards immediately to management.
- Assists with vehicle movement, inspections, and valet duties as needed to support dealership operations.
- Works collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet operational needs, timelines, and customer expectations.
- Participates in required training programs and stays updated on new products, equipment, and detailing techniques.
- Maintains a professional appearance and reports to work on time as scheduled.
- Handles additional tasks, assignments, and special projects as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Guam driver’s license.

- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
- The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The physical requirements of this position involve Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions: No effective protection from weather. The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
