What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, motivated, compassionate, and eager to learn.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of steady work history
- Must be at least 18 years old
Strongly Valued Experience:
- Veterinary hospitals or clinics
- Animal shelters or rescue organizations
- Doggy daycare or boarding facilities
- Grooming environments
- General animal handling and care
Skills We Value

- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Experience with vaccines, nail trims, blood draws, restraint, or routine treatments is appreciated but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn.
What You’ll Do
Animal Care Technicians play an important support role throughout the hospital. Responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning and organizing treatment areas and hospital spaces
- Restocking supplies and maintaining inventory
- Feeding, walking, and caring for hospitalized patients
- Cleaning cages and maintaining sanitary conditions
- Safely restraining animals for exams and treatments
- Assisting technicians and veterinarians as needed
- Filling prescriptions and preparing medications
- Supporting the daily flow of patient care throughout the hospital
