POSITION: Operations Manager – Weaver High School
REPORTS TO: School Principal
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Manager serves as the principal's chief operational partner by providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of the school's non-instructional operations. The Operations Manager develops and maintains efficient operational systems that allow school leadership to focus on teaching, learning, and student achievement while ensuring effective management of budgets, facilities, safety, transportation, purchasing, scheduling, technology, school events, compliance, and administrative operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
School Operations
- Coordinate daily school operations
- Oversee office operations and administrative workflows
- Develop operational procedures and internal controls
- Coordinate school opening and closing activities
- Support emergency preparedness
Budget & Financial Management
- Monitor school budgets
- Track expenditures
- Process purchase requisitions
- Review contracts and invoices
- Coordinate grant expenditures
Facilities & Safety
- Coordinate building maintenance
- Monitor work orders
- Oversee custodial coordination
- Coordinate capital improvement requests
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Support emergency drills
Personnel Support
- Coordinate substitutes
- Manage onboarding logistics
- Coordinate payroll documentation
- Maintain staffing records
Student Support Operations
- Transportation coordination
- Student records
- Enrollment support
- Testing logistics
- Family communications
Project Management
- Coordinate special initiatives
- School improvement projects
- Operational planning
- Event coordination
Data & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze operational metrics
- Develop dashboards
- Recommend efficiencies
- Monitor compliance
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES OF IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Five years progressively responsible operations experience

Experience with budget/cost analysis.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, Excel, & ability to learn Power School.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment and to work a flexible schedule.

Must be well organized and have strong attention to details.

Must have excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This non-bargaining position has a 12-Month work year. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
