Position Summary
Provide support to students in subject matter .
Reporting Relationship
Direct reporting relationship to the Director of Student Success Center.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide support to students in subject matter via group and/or individual tutor.
- Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in discipline or similar area.
- Two years’ teaching or tutoring experience.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to relate to diverse student body.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in discipline or similar area.
- Experience teaching or tutoring at a community college
Anticipated Work Hours and Days
Varies.
Salary
minimum starting $13.71/hr. rate commensurate with education
