We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to manufacture commercial bakery equipment. This position primarily involves welding and fabricating stainless steel and aluminum products, including bakery racks, work tables, dollies, and other custom equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to producing quality workmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate stainless steel and aluminum components using TIG and MIG welding processes.
- Build and assemble bakery racks, tables, dollies, and other commercial bakery equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials to precise specifications.
- Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet quality standards.
- Perform repairs and modifications to existing equipment as needed.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, strength, and appearance.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with other fabrication and shop duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience welding stainless steel and aluminum required.
- Proficiency in TIG welding; MIG welding experience is also preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools and fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
