American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 4+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a large Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center in the New Haven, CT area.

Multi-site outpatient and hospital-based mammography setting, floating between 4 locations in the greater New Haven, CT area
-
Sites include locations on the main campus as well as off-campus medical centers within 5–15 minutes of the main hospital
-
Schedule is Monday through Friday with shifts of 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00–8:30 PM as needed, plus every other Saturday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

If scheduled on a Saturday, a weekday off will be provided in the same week

Floating between all 4 affiliated sites is required

Minimum of 4 years of Mammography Technologist experience required

ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required

Experience with Hologic mammography equipment required

Trauma center experience at a large facility required

CT state license required if applicable; pending license accepted but must be active prior to start date

Cross-training as a Breast Sonographer is preferred

Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions considered

1 professional reference required for consideration

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval

Teal scrub tops and bottoms are required

Parking is available at a cost of $125/month

Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
