Job Summary:
The Senior Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for leading revenue generation efforts, driving strategic sales initiatives, and executing marketing programs that maximize hotel performance during task force assignments or long-term placements. This role partners closely with hotel leadership to increase occupancy, grow market share, strengthen client relationships, and ensure the successful execution of commercial strategies. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in hotel sales leadership, preferably with Hilton brand experience and strong knowledge of the Los Angeles hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall revenue goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, group clients, travel agencies, meeting planners, and key community partners
- Identify new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships across all market segments
- Conduct proactive sales calls, client presentations, networking events, and property tours to generate new business
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and hotel leadership to develop pricing, forecasting, and market penetration strategies
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to identify opportunities for revenue growth
- Lead, mentor, and support on-property sales teams while promoting a culture of accountability and performance
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and local partnerships to increase brand visibility and demand
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for hotel leadership and stakeholders
- Represent the hotel professionally at industry events, trade shows, and community organizations
Qualifications:
- Hotel sales and marketing experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Proven success in achieving and exceeding hotel revenue and sales goals
- Previous experience with Hilton Hotels & Resorts or another Hilton-branded property preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles hospitality market with established local business relationships preferred
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles, market segmentation, and commercial strategy
- Experience with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently while adapting quickly to new hotel environments and assignments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for task force assignments as needed
