Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures efficiently across different areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living rooms.
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care.
- Use cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to ensure optimal results while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances when necessary for thorough cleaning.
- Maintain clear communication with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure proper floor care through carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and outdoor work experience when required.
- Keep all cleaning surfaces and equipment sanitized and well-maintained for ongoing use.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to complete scheduled tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Support housekeeping management by following established procedures for janitorial and custodial responsibilities in residential settings.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly valued; hotel or commercial cleaning background is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, dusting techniques, floor cleaning, carpet care, and outdoor work experience enhances performance.
- Knowledge of janitorial or custodial procedures ensures adherence to sanitation standards.
- Experience using various cleaning equipment and detergents demonstrates versatility in handling different tasks.
