Pikes Peak Pristine Cleaning is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and coachable Part-Time Cleaning Technician to join our growing team.
This role supports a variety of cleaning services, including commercial cleaning, short-term rental/Airbnb turnovers, deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, and recurring residential maintenance cleans. We are looking for someone who takes pride in detailed work, can follow checklists and instructions, and understands that consistency, reliability, and professionalism matter just as much as cleaning skill.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants part-time W-2 work with room to grow. We start team members at $15.50 per hour, with advancement opportunities into Senior Cleaner and Lead Cleaner roles as performance, trust, and independence are demonstrated.

Pikes Peak Pristine Cleaning is a locally rooted Colorado Springs cleaning company serving residential, commercial, and short-term rental clients. Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary depending on the type of clean assigned, but may include:
- Performing detailed residential maintenance cleans for weekly, bi-weekly, or recurring clients
- Assisting with full-house deep cleans
- Completing move-in and move-out cleaning tasks
- Supporting Airbnb and short-term rental turnovers between guest stays
- Cleaning commercial spaces such as offices or small facilities
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and wiping down surfaces
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, entryways, and common areas
- Following client-specific checklists, property notes, and staging instructions
- Assisting with laundry or linen turnover when assigned for STR properties
- Restocking basic supplies when required for specific properties
- Emptying trash and maintaining a clean, organized work area
- Reporting damages, unusual messes, supply issues, or maintenance concerns to the lead or office
- Using company systems or apps to review job notes, timing requirements, and instructions
- Working under a lead cleaner, manager, or owner when assigned
- Correcting missed items when feedback is provided during quality checks
Short-Term Rental / Airbnb Expectations
Some of our short-term rental properties have same-day guest check-ins, which means timing and checklist accuracy are very important. STR work may include cleaning, resetting, staging, changing linens, preparing bathrooms and kitchens, checking for guest damage, and making sure the property is guest-ready before the next arrival.
Team members must be able to read instructions carefully, follow property-specific standards, and complete assigned areas within required timeframes.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend availability
- Ability to provide their own basic cleaning supplies, tools, mop, vacuum, and gloves
- Cleaning experience in residential, commercial, STR, hotel, janitorial, move-out, or deep cleaning settings
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions
- Professional appearance while onsite
- Coachable attitude
- Willingness to correct items immediately when reviewed
- Ability to work independently once expectations are clear
- Strong reliability, especially on initial assignments
- Pride in providing high-quality cleaning work
Experience Preferred
Cleaning experience is strongly preferred, especially in one or more of the following areas:
- Residential cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- Move-in/move-out cleaning
- Short-term rental or Airbnb turnovers
- Commercial cleaning
- Janitorial cleaning
- Hotel housekeeping or hospitality cleaning
We are willing to provide training on our company standards, checklists, and property-specific expectations, but candidates should already be comfortable with basic cleaning tasks and willing to work efficiently in active job settings.
Physical Requirements
This position requires active, hands-on cleaning work. Candidates should be able to:
- Stand, bend, kneel, reach, and move throughout a shift
- Lift and carry cleaning supplies or equipment as needed
- Use cleaning tools such as mops, vacuums, dusters, and microfiber systems
- Work in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and common areas
- Complete repetitive cleaning tasks safely and consistently
- Work around stairs, pets, laundry, linens, and furnished properties when assigned
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Hours and days may vary depending on client needs, property schedules, and employee availability.
Weekend availability is required, especially for short-term rental turnovers and larger cleaning assignments.
Work may include:
- Weekday cleans
- Weekend cleans
- Morning or midday shifts
- Same-day STR turnover windows
- Occasional larger deep clean or move-out assignments
As reliability and performance are demonstrated, additional hours and higher-responsibility assignments may become available.
Pay and Advancement
Starting pay is $15.50 per hour.
Team members who demonstrate strong reliability, quality, speed, professionalism, and leadership potential may be considered for advancement into:
- Senior Cleaner roles
- Lead Cleaner roles
- Higher-responsibility assignments
- Training and quality-control support roles
Lead opportunities may include helping guide team members onsite, reviewing completed work, supporting checklists, and helping ensure Pikes Peak Pristine standards are met before a job is signed off.
Reliability Expectations
Reliability is extremely important in this role. Our clients, guests, property owners, and team members depend on assigned cleaners showing up on time and completing the work as scheduled.
Once you are scheduled for a job, you are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and ready to complete your assigned work. We understand emergencies happen, but repeated call-outs, last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or poor communication may affect continued employment and scheduling opportunities.
