Job Description
We are seeking a talented residential architect with a minimum of five years of experience to join our multidisciplinary design team. If you are familiar with our legacy, you know we look through a lens of spatial harmony, proportion, and texture. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to move past conventional architectural frameworks and fully immerse yourself in highly custom interior architecture, millwork, and bespoke product integration.
As an Architect at de Giulio, you will handle diverse, ultra-luxury residential projects from initial concept through to meticulous installation. You will collaborate directly with our artisans, general contractors, and elite vendors to translate ambitious design intent into physical, built reality. Qualifications We Seek
- Professional degree in Architecture/Interior Architecture or Interior Design with at least 5 years of experience
- Deep familiarity with the luxury residential project lifestyle, including comprehensive planning, detailing, and execution phases
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for producing project drawings, technical details, and specifications
- Keen understanding of millwork detailing, custom wood fabrication, and architectural metal components
- Experience specifying luxury fixtures, high-end appliances, and custom hardware
- Visual, verbal, and technical communication skills, with a natural ability to work alongside multi-disciplinary teams and artisans
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset suited for a vibrant and highly collaborative studio environment
- Background or strong interest in high-end kitchen and bath design is a significant asset
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project drawings, interior elevations, and technical specifications
- Manage luxury residential projects efficiently from inception to final handover, overseeing product selection, custom material procurement, and installation logistics
- Conduct thorough site visits and inspections to maintain quality control, collaborating closely with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure execution of design specifications
- Partner closely with in-house designers, principal architects, and studio artisans throughout the lifecycle of each commission
- Maintain clear and effective communication with custom vendors and fabricators to oversee production timelines and ensure timely delivery of custom materials
Salary
$70,000 - $100,000 per year
The salary range for this position varies based on experience, seniority, proven performance, and level of expertise.
