We are looking for a self-motivated individual to oversee the kitchen operations and the culinary team. The restaurant setting is fine dining/upscale casual, and we are a growing brand. We feature a core menu that changes seasonally but offer our culinary staff the ability to showcase their creativity through nightly specials and various food and wine pairing events throughout the year.
As the Kitchen Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting and directing the culinary team in food preparation/execution/plating of the core menu items to the company standards
- Hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff
- Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
- Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
- Communication with the General Manager to ensure the common goal of exceeding guest expectations every shift, every day
