Responsibilities: Set up and lead the technology team in the US, based on business needs and professional strategic judgement Work closely with the business team in the US to provide timely and effective support, drive process improvement and security improvement based on a deeper understanding of the business. Collaborate with another tech team to unite the company system by considering both business needs and local regulations Familiar with cutting-edge technology solutions, and service providers. Decide and integrate different outside services to streamline the technical service, and keep continual improvement Be able to lead and drive the system to be the benchmark in the certain business area Skillful at vendor management Qualifications: Minimum 2-year experience as department head at Securities Houses, or minimum 4-year experience at other Financial Services organizations with taking management roles (or other equivalent roles) Leadership: domain/tech expert, the experience of managing complexity, inspiring people at all levels, building strong teams Innovation: experience in developing and implementing digital road maps (old tech to new tech) Partnerships: experience and connections with business, regulators, other Tech leaders in Fund and Industry, in the US Client and Product centric: Client centricity principles enabler, the driver for Product to the platform and demonstrates the ability to lead and navigate product development through to steady-state implementation Risk and Reg: Strong experience in building a strong core leadership team, enabling operational resilience, proactive technology risk management, engaging and leading forums with regulators, has been involved in risk identification and remediation.
