Responsibilities:
As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
2. Conducting financial analysis and preparing detailed reports on findings.
3. Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
4. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal standards.
5. Implementing and maintaining comprehensive financial policies and procedures.
6. Collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes.
7. Coordinating with tax accountants to optimize tax planning strategies.
8. Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
9. Assisting with other accounting projects as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this Full Charge Bookkeeper role will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
2. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
3. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4. Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
5. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
8. Proficiency in English and in MS Office, particularly Excel.
9. Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
