Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Green Valley Dental
Pay: $35–$45 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
Green Valley Dental is looking for a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who takes pride in quality work and staying organized throughout the day. This role is a good fit for someone who is confident in their clinical abilities, works well with a team, and values a well-run practice. You’ll work closely with the dentist to provide efficient, high-quality restorative care while helping keep the schedule moving and ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Perform EFDA duties in accordance with state regulations
- Assist the dentist with restorative procedures
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Place and contour fillings and perform expanded functions as permitted
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide excellent patient care and help create a comfortable environment for patients
Qualifications:
- Current EFDA certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice
- Experience with Open Dental software preferred, but not required
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Xray certification
- CPR certified
Compensation & Benefits:
- $40–$50 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:
Monday 7:45-4pm, Tuesday 7:45-4pm, Thursday 7:45-4pm, Friday 7:45 -3pm
