Plymouth Regional High School is seeking a motivated and student-focused Paraprofessional to support our Outdoor Recreation Leadership Teacher as part of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) team for the 2026–2027 school year. Working closely with the Outdoor Recreation Leadership Teacher, the paraprofessional will assist in delivering hands-on, four-season outdoor learning experiences. The role includes supporting students during classroom instruction, indoor and outdoor activities. Key responsibilities will include helping with group supervision, reinforcing safety protocols, encouraging student engagement, and assisting with logistical coordination of outdoor activities.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have experience working with high school students, particularly in experiential or outdoor education settings.
- Be comfortable participating in a variety of outdoor environments and conditions.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a collaborative spirit.
- Support a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
- Be willing to assist with student behavior management and small group instruction under the direction of the lead teacher.
7 hours per day, 191 days (182 work days, 9 holidays)
Salary range $17.34 - $24.68 per hour
