Dental 360 is seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records, medical histories, and treatment documentation.
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history and updating care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and reviewing documentation for accuracy Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical office setting with dental clinic experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend and FUSE
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management software
- Ability to handle documentation review, and coding accurately
- Bilingual skills English/Spanish is required
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings
- Any other tasks/duties as assigned
