American Water Damage is in search of a motivated and confident Mitigation Sales professional to engage with homeowners and conduct comprehensive inspections for water/mold damage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property insurance policies and be able to review these policies with customers as necessary, effectively securing their commitment to proceed with the recommended scope of work. This position emphasizes a one-call-close sales approach, with no cold calling or self-generated leads required. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Engage with customers to understand their needs and conduct a thorough assessment of the damage. Provide accurate predictive estimates on-site when necessary
· Provide insurance claims assistance on site as needed
· Close deals on the spot using a proven sales process and industry-leading tools.
· Represent American Water Damage professionally, delivering a top-tier customer experience.
· Build relationships with referral partners to create ongoing business opportunities
· Perform first responder duties for water and mold in emergency situations.
· Complete an accurate inspection, identify and discuss the scope of work with the customer, obtain work authorization and provide any claims assistance if needed.
· Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is met on each project and addressing escalated complaints
· Review completed files for profitability and accuracy of the original scope.
· Attend all company meetings and functions.
· Handle pertinent calls with the adjuster, property manager, tenant or other concerned party.
· Work with the Claims Coordinator and Administration to collect on debts for projects, as needed.
· Communicate a positive image of the company to the entire staff and customers.
· Implement the company vision and mission and achieve goals.
· Lead by example and coach and develop employees.
· Understanding of estimating programs and other related programs required for the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience in the property insurance or restoration industry. 2-5 years required
· High attention to detail & possesses strong analytical skills
· Strong sense of urgency
· Industry certifications are also required (WRT / AMRT)
· Software experience preferred: Xactimate, Microsoft Office, Gmail, Albiware
· Available for on-call rotation & willing to respond to emergencies 24/7
· Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
· Must be comfortable in both professional office and field work environments
· Must be proactive and a team player
· Ability to handle large files with sensitive and confidential information
· Excellent writing, verbal and organizational skills
· Valid driver’s license, able to pass background check
COMPENSATION
The compensation level for this position will be commensurate with the experience of the qualified candidate. We offer a highly competitive salary, plus commission and bonus structure paid monthly as well as excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision.
$55,000 plus commissions
