Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of a diverse range of equipment and systems across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and electrical schematics. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment that supports our operational excellence.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and various mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, mechanical systems, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct HVAC/R servicing including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment to maintain proper climate control.
- Lead or assist in construction projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose issues through mechanical knowledge and equipment diagnostics; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Support team leadership by mentoring junior technicians and coordinating maintenance schedules to optimize operational uptime.
Skills
Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or warehouse setting
Electrical and HVAC background
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.
Basic computer skills to log work orders and maintenance records.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Bilingual
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
