What is the job about?
J Bee Home Improvement is seeking a skilled siding & window installer who is passionate about quality craftsmanship and truly cares about providing customers with a superior finished product. We don’t want to just provide another job, but help the right person build a long-term home where they can increase their income, sharpen their skills, and grow for years to come. The right person for this role will have experience with residential window installation, residential siding installation, general construction skills, and working in customers’ homes, ideally with several years of hands-on experience installing windows, performing trim work, making proper adjustments, and completing projects cleanly and professionally. As important as the skillset is, we care just as much about hiring someone who is the right cultural fit for our organization. Who is J Bee Home Improvement?
Founded in 1995, Wisconsin Rapids-based Bee Windows & Siding expanded to Manitowoc to better serve lakeshore residents, selecting Joe Koehler to manage the Manitowoc location. After more than 15 years with the company, Joe purchased the business in 2011 and renamed it K Bee Window & Siding. In 2024, Joe passed the business to his daughter, Jasmine, who renamed it J Bee Home Improvements, with Joe continuing on as company manager. Today, J Bee Home Improvements proudly serves homeowners throughout Northeast Wisconsin, maintaining the same commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and customer satisfaction that has defined the company for decades.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- 2+ years in window installation experience
- 2+ years in siding installation experience
- Must have own vehicle, trailer, & tools with valid drivers license
- Self Motivated / Self Starter
- Detail oriented
- Great attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Punctual
- Reliable
