Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Handle cashier responsibilities including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper sanitation practices
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary tasks and food handling
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to serving guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Experience working in a café, restaurant, grocery store or retail environment is beneficial
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
