American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a hospital in Portsmouth, NH, requiring a valid NH or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience in a procedural, critical care, or emergency department setting.

Interventional Radiology unit with 2 IR suites (Single Plane and Bi-Plane)
-
Unit staffed with 5 nurses and 5 technologists
-
Equipment includes Philips Bi-Plane, GE Monitoring, and GE Mac Lab
-
EMR: Meditech
-
Typical procedures include EKOS, angiograms, Trevo, cerebral coiling, and biopsies
-
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with call responsibilities

On-call requirement of 1 call night per week

One weekend shift required per month
-
No floating required
-
13-week contract

Active NH or compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience

Experience in a procedural department, critical care, or emergency department, OR experience with moderate sedation required

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)

No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience is preferred

Experience with moderate sedation is preferred

Candidates must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position

Candidates must live within a 40-minute radius of the hospital to be considered
