Duties
- Prepare and cook traditional Pakistani dishes with authenticity and precision, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, inventory control, and maintaining food safety standards.
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, training new employees, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Manage menu planning for daily service, catering events, and special occasions, incorporating dietary considerations as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies efficiently, and control food costs to optimize kitchen productivity.
- Ensure timely food service delivery in both restaurant and banquet settings while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Enforce strict food handling procedures and uphold health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Pakistani cuisine with a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Prior banquet experience with the ability to manage large-scale catering operations.
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and the ability to modify dishes accordingly.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to manage a team effectively.
- Experience in fine dining environments or upscale restaurants is preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
