Duties
- Assist in managing daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Weekends are a must, but there is room to request day(s) off when needed.
- Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, receiving deliveries, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Train new team members on food safety protocols, customer service techniques, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant
- Demonstrate leadership skills with previous supervising, lead, or assistant manager experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to handle cash accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to manage shift schedules, oversee food production, and supervise team members effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control, food handling, and food industry best practices.
