We're looking for a Kitchen Team Member to work at our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen. We serve Texas-style Barbecue and are looking for someone who is has a passion for freindly customer service. No experience required.
Responsibilities after training period:
- Conform to standard kitchen safety protocols.
- Have knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Prepare meals and side dishes in a timely manner.
- Be able to explain dishes to customers.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on positive interactions
- Experience in food service or quick service environments preferred, but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha or Toast, is a plus
- Willingness to learn food preparation techniques and upselling strategies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour
