Overview
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This position is responsible for front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for guest relations in a hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
- Process payments
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Utilize phone systems to handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests.
Skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software and night audit processes.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and familiarity with phone systems.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
