Our vet techs work hand in hand with our 3 doctors to give our clients the best experience possible. Our technicians are well educated in vaccine protocols, heartworm and flea preventions, the importance of diagnostics, and safely handling pets.
Dr. Sharma and Dr. Singh wanted a clinic that was focused on the wellbeing of the pet while keeping the client in mind, as well. Their goal was to create a non-toxic environment where the staff wants to come to work every day. Our doctors are respectful to our staff and we do not tolerate clients who are abusive to staff in any way.
What we look for in our technicians:
- Compassion for all pets we work with, with empathy for the clients
- Skills including but not limited to: venipuncture, restraint, surgical prep and monitoring, using radiograph and bloodwork machines, filling medications, and client education
- Knowledge of medications, medical procedures, and medical terminology
- Ability to work with team members
- Ability to take direction/criticism, learn new skills, and help teach/train new staff
- A willingness to perform cleaning duties and walk dogs (we do not have kennel staff, but also do not require techs to come in on days we are closed to care for pets)
- Ability to see what needs to be done and take action
The most important thing for new additions to our team is a positive attitude and personality that will mesh well with our current staff and clients. We believe the biggest strength someone can add to our clinic is the ability to work well with others and help grow our clinic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
