Seeking a motivated and safety-focused CDL Driver / Vactor Truck Operator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for operating a Vactor truck to perform hydro excavation, storm drain cleaning, sewer and lift station maintenance, industrial vacuum services, and other environmental and emergency response projects throughout Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a CDL-required Vactor truck.
- Perform hydro excavation, vacuum excavation, storm drain cleaning, catch basin cleaning, sewer line cleaning, and industrial vacuuming.
- Inspect equipment before and after each shift and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections, job documentation, and required paperwork.
- Work closely with supervisors and customers to complete projects efficiently.
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and general labor as needed.
- Respond to emergency service calls, including occasional after-hours and weekend work.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- 2 years+ clean driving record
- Tanker endorsement preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience operating a Vactor truck, vacuum truck, hydro excavation equipment, or similar heavy equipment is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
