Overview:
The Deployment Coordinator is responsible for finalizing the hiring process by conducting deployment processing at Tyndall AFB, FL and ensuring the new employee safely reaches his/her deployed location. The ideal candidate will have expert level knowledge of all pre-deployment sub-processes and must strike a delicate balance between our high-volume recruiting environment and providing a world class candidate experience. They must be a cross-functional integrator, capable of influencing other departments such as Recruiting, Security, Travel, Operations and HR. This position reports to the Deployment Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Completes personnel actions for Mobilization and Demobilization of U.S. National direct hires and Subcontractors. To include paperwork, meet and greet, training and escorting personnel on base to complete deployment functions.

Organize and track pre-deployment requirements, coordinate with deployers while in transit to and from OCONUS site.

Liaises with other departments to monitor, schedule, and/or track, security clearances, travel, new hire data entry, etc.

Schedules deployment processing in coordination with the AFCAP Program Administrator at Tyndall AFB, FL.

Travels with new employees to base, hotel, and airports.

Completes weekly personnel summary for contractual reporting requirements.

Responsible for tracking and return of government deployment equipment.

Organized data retention documents and filing both electronic and hard copy IAW Vectrus Corporate guidelines.

Report emergencies and safety issues to appropriate management.

Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and publish company policies.

Evenings, weekends, and travel may be required to support business requirements during surge periods which includes proposals, high volume recruiting periods, and contract awards.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

AS degree, 2 years relevant experience

Special Requirements: Applicant must have and be able to maintain a United States Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret Level.
- As a contractor to the United States Department of Defense, applicant must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position.
Experience:
-
Minimum of two year's of related experience required.

Administrative, business operations management or project management experience is preferred.

Knowledge of computer systems.

Experience in office operations, budgeting, planning and preparation of reports and charts.

Must be adept in team building and personnel development.

Knowledge of Air Force missions and customs desired.

Must have excellent communications skills.

Other Requirements:

However, duties will involve local travel to Tyndall Air Force base.
- Must have their own reliable vehicle to travel to the base and hotels multiple times a week.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
- May be required to work weekends, extended hours and respond to short notice requirements
