Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with lane reservations, walk-ins, and inquiries to ensure a positive experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process cash transactions accurately for bowling fees, shoe rentals, and food or beverage sales
- Manage the bowling equipment including lane assignments, scoring systems, and maintenance requests
- Enforce safety protocols by monitoring guest behavior, handling minor incidents with first aid or CPR when necessary, and maintaining a safe environment for all ages
- Handle guest concerns or conflicts promptly with effective conflict management skills to ensure satisfaction and safety
- Assist in event management by coordinating birthday parties, leagues, or special events at the venue
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of bowling balls or equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed during all physical activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in event venue management, retail sales, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in public speaking situations
- Ability to work outdoors or in varied environments as part of outdoor work experience is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols including CPR and first aid certification; Lifeguard experience is advantageous
- Experience working with children or in food service environments enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of equipment or supplies
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is preferred
- Demonstrated conflict management skills to address guest concerns effectively and professionally
