Job Summary
We are looking for a Materials Coordinator to manage inventory, shipping and receiving, and warehouse logistics. In this role, you will keep inventory accurate, use our ERP system, keep materials flowing to production, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to keep operations running smoothly.
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Hood River, Oregon.
What You’ll Do
- Inventory Management: Track physical inventory, run cycle counts, and fix discrepancies. Pull and stage parts for Work Orders so production lines stay on schedule. Update ERP records and flag low stock early. Organize shelving and storage logically.
- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate daily shipping schedules with carriers. Inspect incoming freight for damage, correct errors with vendors or purchasing, and audit outgoing shipments for accuracy. Generate basic inventory reports.
- Team & Vendor Coordination: Serve as a primary contact for internal teams (Production, Purchasing, Quality) and vendors to resolve shipping hiccups and material needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems and managing shipping/handling processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Great communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and handle shifting deadlines.
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

Work environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in an office and manufacturing environment. This position operates out of the Production area, production areas may experience moderate to high noise levels due to machinery, equipment, and packaging processes. Hearing protection may be required in designated areas. Temperature in the warehouse may vary with seasonal conditions and may not be climate-controlled. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, carts, pallet jacks and other typical hazards of an industrial setting; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
