Community Living Services is seeking a dedicated and community-minded individuals to serve on our Board of Directors. This is a Volunteer leadership opportunity for those who are passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and strengthening our community.
About this Role
This is not a paid opportunity.
Board members provide strategic leadership, oversight, and governance to ensure the organization fulfills its mission and remains financially and operationally strong. Board Members work collaboratively with fellow board members and organizational leadership to guide the future of the agency.
Responsibilities
- Attend regular monthly board meetings and participate in committee work as needed.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the agency.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight.
- Review and approve organizational policies, budgets, and major initiatives.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization within the community.
- Support fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement efforts.
- Act in the best interest of the organization and those we serve.
