Security Officer Armed Protective Patrol
As a Security Officer Armed Protective Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to routine concerns, support a caring environment, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, donors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal management.

Prepare clear incident reports, document daily activities, and support law enforcement, first responders, and/or authorized personnel during investigations or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Be at least 21 years of age.

An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
