Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and retail operations, with a strong focus on customer service and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory control
- Assist in managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate shift coverage
- Train and mentor team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop strategies to drive sales and meet store targets
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist in market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers
- Experience in shift management is a plus
- Knowledge of buying and selling processes would be advantageous
